Western State Hospital is growing, and we’re looking for dedicated professionals to join our team. We are currently hiring multiple Security Guards for on-call positions and a temporary position. In this vital role, you will help ensure the safety and security of our staff, patients, visitors, and campus facilities, playing an essential part in supporting our mission at Western State Hospital.
We are seeking a person who can quickly adapt to their environment, who have the skills to proactively manage safety & security situations, and who can be an effective member of our team. Your important role is to assist WSH management in enforcing hospital rules, regulations, policies, and statutory law.

Some of what you'll do:
- Patrol campus in a vehicle and on foot, provide protection for hospital staff, patients, visitors, and property
- Intervene and de-escalate in uncertain/crises
- Provide security presence, walk-throughs, and safety checks on the wards
- Assist in gathering evidence
