Job Overview
Schylling is an award-winning toy company that has been putting smiles on the faces of children, and children-at-heart, for over 50 years. Our warehouse operations are in Lakewood, WA, and we are currently recruiting for an experienced Warehouse Leads as our operations continue to grow. The most suitable individual will be able to complete the following:
Responsibilities- Support Warehouse Supervisor in facilitation of department.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Lead special projects within department.
- Ensure accuracy on every receipt and customer orders while maintaining operational standards.
- Must have strong collaboration and team building skills to drive the business goals.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the warehouse by training and developing department employees.
- Must be able to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy.
- Monitors product quality and reports any problems to eliminate safety issues.
- Lead and monitor forklift staff within department.
- Manage and coordinate the receipt of product including unloading, inspection, put away, and replenishment.
- Leading cycle counts and maintaining inventory accuracy within the warehouse.
- Manage and coordinate the selection, packing, shipping, and loading of customer orders.
- Assist in coordination of the replenishment cycles to ensure timely restocking of pick locations.
- Manage and coordinate the selection, labeling, kitting, bundling, and product customization of customer orders.
- Receiving returned goods and processing damage goods within the warehouse.
- 2+ years of work experience within a warehouse/distribution/order fulfillment.
- Ability to work 1st Shift, Monday through Friday, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm
- Strong leadership and employee engagement skills.
- Knowledge and understanding of supply chain systems (i.e. WMS, RF devices, TMS, ERP, etc.)
- Lift up to 49 pounds and push utility carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other gear up to 60 pounds.
- Operate a forklift safely by having a certification or by being willing to undergo training to obtain it.
- Work at a height of up to 40 feet on a stock picker.
- Adhere to strict safety, quality, and fulfillment production standards.
- Must be able to report to work as assigned (eligible for overtime).
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- US work authorization required.
- High school diploma/GED required.
- Consent to a background check.

The base salary range for this position is $24 to $27 per hour with a second shift differential of $1.50 additional per hour while working on the second shift. Offered base compensation within this range will be determined based on a candidate’s qualifications, experience, geographic location and other factors relevant to the scope and responsibilities of this role.
