Compensation: $26.99/hour

ResponsibilitiesTessera is seeking a reliable and motivated Stock Clerk Sorter Classifier with a professional attitude. The Stock Clerk Sorter Classifier is responsible for warehouse operations to include property accountability, bulk issue and turn-in of OCIE equipment on temporary loan to the customer and stock movement for turn-in or issue.
- Assist in stock record functions related to distribution, issue, and turnin of OCIE.
- Inspect individual items to determine serviceability, classification, cleanliness, and proper sorting for inventory.
- Process items for DRMO or SSA turnin, prepare materials for shipment, and provide documentation details to the warehouse lead.
- Ensure quality standards are met; promptly report quality control issues or complaints.
- Support customer appointment schedules and help maintain service standards within required benchmarks.
- Maintain proper safety and housekeeping standards throughout the warehouse.
- Assist with annual inventory requirements.
- Support general cleanliness and organization within the warehouse.
- 3-5 years of experience in warehouse or retail operations, with proven success supporting supply and inventory processes.
- Knowledge of CIF operations and supply management procedures, including equipment serviceability determinations and proper classification.
- Proficiency with computers and inventory systems, especially Microsoft Excel, and ability to read common productivity and quality reports.
- Strong customer service and communication skills; able to respond professionally to inquiries, issues, and documentation needs.
- Ability and willingness to operate warehouse equipment, including forklift certification (or willingness to obtain it).
Employees must have the ability to meet the following physical demands for extended periods of time with or without assistance. The physical demands of this position may be reasonably accommodated for individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions on a case-by-case basis.
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 70 pounds.
- May be required to reach, kneel, walk, stand, and use repetitive motion for several hours at a time based on position duties.
- Work may require repetitive motion, reaching, lifting, kneeling, and walking. Standing or sitting for several hours at a time, climbing in and out of a vehicle, and up and down stairs may also be required.
- Must have the perseverance to work effectively under pressure for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain applicable security clearances and installation access. A background check and E-Verify will be conducted for this position.
- Access to this federal military installation requires a REAL
-compliant driver s license or an acceptable alternative, such as a U.S. passport or military , in accordance with the REAL .
