* Job Description:

- ** Direct Patient Care:** - Provide compassionate care to women in labor and delivery.
- Support postpartum mothers and newborns with dedicated childcare.
- *
* Essential Responsibilities:
** - Perform thorough assessments and closely monitor labor processes.
- Prepare for C-sections, inductions, and ensure meticulous documentation.
- Administer care during labor and post-delivery, including infant care.
- Prepare delivery rooms and provide emotional support to patients.
- Coordinate transfers and adhere to infection control standards.
- ** Accountability Structure:** - Report directly to the New Beginnings Birth Center Manager.
- ** Special Demands:** - Engage in physical activities including long periods of standing and lifting.
- Be prepared for exposure to blood, body fluids, and infectious diseases.

* Qualifications:

* Education:
** RN graduate with current Colorado licensure; CPR certified;
Neonatal Resuscitation Certification and ACLS within one year.

* Experience:
** 4 years of preferred experience in Obstetrics care.
- *
* Skills:
** - Strong interest and knowledge in labor, delivery, postpartum, and infant care.
- Proficient in sterile technique and infection control principles.
- Able to excel in high-pressure situations and communicate effectively.
- ** Working Environment:** - Full-time position of 36 hours per week.
- Shift: 7:00 am to 7:00 pm with required on-call responsibilities.
- Potential rotation of shifts and areas to meet staffing needs.
