Responsibilities- Provide leadership and direction to the nursing team, ensuring that high-quality care is delivered to our residents
- Develop and implement effective staffing plans, schedules, and assignments to ensure adequate coverage and patient safety
- Conduct regular assessments of resident care and make recommendations for improvements
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and staff
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and optimal care
- Participate in performance improvement initiatives and quality assurance activities
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of resident care and services
- Current RN license in the state of Colorado
- Minimum of 1 years of experience as a Registered Nurse, preferably in a long-term care or assisted living setting
- Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
- Familiarity with electronic medical records and other healthcare technology
- The Assistant Director of Nursing will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with frequent interruptions and changing priorities
- Must be able to lift, push, or pull a minimum of 25 pounds, with frequent bending, stooping, or standing
