Lamar Estates is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse Unit Manager to join our team at our Assisted Living Facilities in Lamar, CO, USA. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents.
About the RoleAs a Registered Nurse Unit Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our nursing units, ensuring that all residents receive high-quality, individualized care. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans, manage medication administration, and monitor resident progress. Your exceptional leadership skills and ability to multitask will be crucial in managing daily responsibilities, addressing resident concerns, and maintaining a positive and respectful work environment.
Responsibilities- Oversee the daily operations of the nursing units, including scheduling, staffing, and quality of care
- Develop and implement individualized care plans for residents, in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
- Manage medication administration, including ordering and controlling medications, and monitoring resident responses
- Conduct regular rounds to monitor resident condition, identifying and addressing any concerns or issues
- Provide education and training to staff on resident care, medication administration, and disease management
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure a comprehensive approach to resident care
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, company policies, and industry standards
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Colorado
- Minimum of 1 years of experience as a Registered Nurse, a leadership role preferred
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and staff
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to make sound decisions in high-pressure situations
