As a Registered Nurse in L&D in Colorado’s Lamar region, you will collaborate with skilled obstetric teams to ensure safe, compassionate care from labor through delivery and postpartum support. You will rely on evidence‑based practices, continuous fetal monitoring when indicated, and vigilant assessment of both patient and baby safety.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough admission assessments
- Perform continuous fetal monitoring when indicated
- Manage labor and delivery processes
- Administer analgesia within protocol
- Assist with vaginal and cesarean deliveries
- Perform newborn assessments
- Provide immediate postpartum care
- Support breastfeeding initiation
- Counsel families on newborn care and discharge planning
- Ensure meticulous documentation
- Adapt plans for high‑risk pregnancies
- Coordinate with obstetricians, anesthesiologists, and neonatal teams as needed
- Lead educational moments for patients and families
Weekly pay ranging from $2,582 to $2,763, with sign‑on bonus or other incentive options. Housing assistance to ease relocation and clear extension opportunities for a longer‑term path. 24/7 dedicated travel support is provided to assist with onboarding, housing logistics, and on‑the‑road needs.
