Overview
This travel assignment begins September 14, 2026 and lasts for 13 weeks, with guaranteed 36 hours per week on a 12-hour night schedule (7:00 pm–7:00 am). Weekly pay ranges from $2,673 to $2,857. The role takes place in a hospital setting that provides obstetrics services, including labor, delivery, postpartum, and newborn care, with potential to rotate units as needed. It is a travel, temporary assignment with on-call requirements.

- On-call required
- May rotate shifts and areas based on staffing and census
- Provide direct patient care to women in labor, during delivery, postpartum, and to the newborn, within OB nursing scope
- Perform maternal assessments, monitor labor progression, assist with inductions and C-sections, and maintain accurate documentation
- Administer prescribed IV medications and analgesia; monitor maternal and fetal status; support postpartum recovery and newborn care
- Prepare the delivery room, provide emotional support to patients and families, and coordinate transfers as needed
- Maintain infection control practices, sterile technique, and adherence to OB department policies
- Collaborate with the healthcare team, communicate clearly with patients and families, and remain composed in high-stress situations
- Current Colorado Registered Nurse license
- Current CPR certification
- Neonatal Resuscitation Certification (NRP) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within one year of employment
- Education:
graduate of an approved registered nursing program; active Colorado nursing license - Experience:
4 years obstetrics care preferred - Ability to work nights (7:00 pm–7:00 am) and on-call; capable of functioning effectively in a labor and delivery setting
