Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) Full-Time Night Shift in a healthcare facility. This position involves providing comprehensive direct patient care to women during labor, delivery, postpartum, and neonatal care, ensuring all aspects of maternal and newborn care are managed effectively. The RN will perform assessments, monitor labor progress, assist with deliveries, administer medications, and provide patient education, supporting a positive experience for patients and their families.

- Schedule:
Nights, 36 hours per week, from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., with potential shift and area rotation based on staffing and census. On‑call required. - Required Qualifications:
RN graduate with current licensure, current CPR certification, neonatal resuscitation certification, and ACLS certification within one year of employment. - Preferred Qualifications:
Four years of obstetric care experience preferred. - Responsibilities:
Performing assessments, monitoring labor processes, preparing for cesarean sections and inductions, documenting nursing care, administering IV medications, providing emotional support, coordinating transfers, and educating patients. Adheres to infection control principles and OB department policies. - Knowledge and
Skills:
Strong interest in obstetrics, sterile technique, infection control, mother/newborn care, and ability to perform effectively under high stress. Good communication and interpersonal skills. - Additional Information:
The RN will be responsible for providing direct care to women in various stages of labor and postpartum, as well as neonatal care, ensuring safety and quality standards are maintained.
