Live Haul CDL Driver - Lamar

This position is responsible for transporting animal loads as scheduled while following our biosecurity protocols. 90% - Livestock movements: loading and unloading swine. 10% - Other duties as assigned (feed haul, moving equipment, etc.). Communication with various departments. Local travel – approx. 30 mile local farm radius. Valid Non-Expired Class A CDL. Live haul experience preferred, but not required. Strong communication and listening skills.

Lift/Carry heavy objects approximately 60lbs. Constant walking, bending, pushing, pulling. Demonstrated ability to solve problems and make decisions independently. Be a team oriented, self-motivated and positive individual with strong work ethics. Ability to efficiently multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work in inclement weather conditions. 1 year driving experience preferred. Animal handling experience preferred but not required; will provide training.

Ability to work in tight spaces; trailer compartment.
