Colorado Department of Transportation seeks a Heavy Equipment Mechanic III to inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain trucks and highway maintenance equipment to keep Colorado roads safe and reliable.
The role requires a valid Colorado CDL Permit and obtaining CDL Class A or B within 6 months of hire, plus a DOT pre-employment drug test. Training will be provided to obtain the full CDL; expect a mix of field and shop work, with overtime and possible travel to remote locations.
