Join Our Team
As a family-run, high-tech company with nearly 19,000 employees at 71 locations worldwide, we are looking for forward thinkers with unconventional ideas and drive to join our team. Our company culture, which values collaboration and mutual trust, creates the ideal framework for boldly trying new things and questioning the status quo. Our technologies inspire people to develop and produce things that are currently unimaginable.
Whether lasers, machine tools, EUV or electronics - TRUMPF is building technological worlds for future generations. Are you ready for new challenges?
Weld large constructions in mechanical engineering using various welding processes such as WIG, MAG, and UP-welding. You will work with both automated and semi-automated welding processes like MAG tractor or cobot and assemble parts according to drawings.
In close collaboration with your team, you will ensure dimensional accuracy when joining assemblies. You will use fixtures as needed and consider potential distortion already in the planning phase.
As a central specialist, you will weld complex large constructions with multi-layer weld bead buildups according to design specifications. You will take into account heat treatment, welding sequence, and technique and set up welding equipment according to material and WPS specifications.
You will conduct quality checks of the welded constructions by carefully controlling distortion and dimensional accuracy using common measurement methods. If necessary, you will correct the constructions through methods such as heat treatment or pressing and document your work with test protocols.
By precisely fitting, you will prepare components according to design drawings, using methods such as flame and plasma cutting and making weld preparation.
You have successfully completed an apprenticeship as a construction mechanic or welder. A qualification as a welding specialist, which underscores your expertise, is particularly welcome but not required.
You have proven and can substantiate your professional experience in the MAG 135 welding process with appropriate evidence. You apply your practical skills safely and routinely.
A certification as a magnetic particle examiner MT1/2, which complements your profile, is advantageous but not mandatory.
You already have a crane operator's license or are willing to obtain one - we will gladly support you in this.
Good German language skills enable you to communicate clearly with colleagues and to read construction drawings and technical documentation securely.
Your reliability and team orientation actively contribute to constructive cooperation. Flexibility in your daily work allows you to adapt to changing requirements.
A value-based work environment in a family-owned company where diversity and equal opportunities are highly valued
Flat hierarchies and a dynamic team where cooperation on equal footing, open communication, and short decision-making paths are a matter of course
Comprehensive training and development opportunities that provide you with individual development possibilities and promote your professional and personal skills
Attractive additional benefits for your health and mobility, including Hansefit for your fitness
A respectful and appreciative company culture where your commitment is recognized and you can develop your full potential in a motivating work environment
