Job Shift:

* Conduct daily tasks, assign work, communicate with crew/customers, maintain safety, product quality, and housekeeping.
* Perform supervisory tasks: coordinate breaks, train new employees, troubleshoot systems, enforce policies, and ensure safety compliance.
* Lead crew in start-up, operation, and shutdown of equipment and facility systems.
* Operate truck loading/unloading systems and automated control programs; guide truck movement using signals.
* Perform maintenance tasks, preventative maintenance, equipment inspections, and debris removal.
* Report facility status and bin levels to management; participate in daily safety briefings and thorough shift changeovers.
* Observe, report, and troubleshoot potential operational or safety hazards.
* Complete paperwork accurately and completely; check for paperwork accuracy.
* Additional duties as assigned
* High school diploma and general education diploma (GED Required.
* High level of safety and quality.
* Ability to multi-task at a fast-pace (at times), work in outside conditions during all seasons, climb multi-levels by stairs & ladders, work from elevated platforms, use hand tools (shovel, hammer, wrenches, etc.).
* Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
* Mine Safety and Health (MSHA) Knowledge - Preferred.
* Forklift experience - Preferred.
* Computer Software - Preferred.
* Warehouse experience - Preferred.
* Good attendance and adherence to U.S. Silica Core Values.
* Written/verbal communication, dexterity, organizational, interpersonal, analytical, time management, customer focus.
* Ability to read and interpret safety, operational, and maintenance manuals.
* Computer skills (PC, Word, Excel, Ulti Pro, JD Edwards, HMI, Outlook, Salesforce).
* Ability to perform physical labor tasks and work with minimal supervision.
