Our Academy is your first step in a clear career pathway with opportunities to move into specialist roles, supervisory positions or development within Dunbia.

You’ll be trained by one of our Master Butchers, and supported by experienced colleagues, and work towards a nationally recognisable qualification through our apprenticeship programme.

What you will be doing

As a trainee butcher in our academy, you will:

• Learn and apply core butchery skills, techniques and best practices
• Develop confidence using a range of meat cutting tools and machinery
• Work as part of a dedicated, professional team
• Build strong knowledge of the food processing industry

After 3-6 months you will be enrolled on the apprenticeship program to continue your development.
