About MiChild at Moore villa Nursery

Moore villa Nursery, proudly rated as “Good” by Ofsted, Ofsted have said that children thrive in a happy and engaging environment. Knowledgeable staff support them as they participate in engaging experiences. Staff follow children's lead, which helps them stay engaged, interactions with children are of a high quality.

Moore villa Nursery is one of our largest settings and has a capacity of 117. We have 6 rooms; 3 room dedicated for our youngest learners that are under two, 2 rooms for curious toddlers (2-3 years old) and a large pre‑school room. The nursery is located on a beautiful one acre of land and boast 3 large outdoor classrooms specifically individually spaces designed for babies, toddler and pre‑school.

Moore villa has a strong focus on providing a welcoming family vibe and atmosphere, whether this be with new families or our MiChild Team and also has a full refurbished Mi‑Learning Lounger which is used to facilitate in‑house and external staff and family training.

About the Role

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring all areas of the nursery clean and tidy, reporting any potential maintenance issues to the Maintenance team:

• To clean all areas of the day nursery including toilets, kitchen, play rooms and staff areas
• To clean all surfaces of the day nursery including floors, paintwork, tiles and walls.
• Report any maintenance issues that prevent safe and efficient cleaning of these areas.
• To remove all bottles and recyclable materials to the relevant position or bin and ensuring anything recyclable is recycled.
• ensuring that shortages do not prevent cleaning.
• Ensure all high and low level dusting is completed.
• To be committed to the safeguarding of all children

This role is for 15 hours per week, 3 hours per day - 5-7pm OR 6pm-8pm.

Role

• Have proven experience in a similar role
• Able to ensure the safety and cleanliness of the setting at all times
• Be able to identify any needs/and or issues around the nursery
• subject to DBS and reference check.
