Create exceptional experiences. Drive commercial success. Lead the future of hospitality.

This is an exciting time to join Blackburn with Darwen's Venues Team. With King George's Hall preparing to reopen following a £13.5 million transformation
, we are looking for an ambitious and customer-focused Hospitality Manager to lead and develop our food, beverage and hospitality offer across King George's Hall and Darwen Library Theatre.

From major concerts and theatre productions to conferences, private events and community celebrations, you'll play a key role in ensuring visitors receive an outstanding experience while maximising commercial income and growth opportunities. Leading our hospitality and bar teams, you will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service, developing an attractive hospitality offer, driving sales and profitability, and ensuring the highest standards of quality, compliance and presentation.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has experience managing hospitality, catering or licensed operations in a venue, events, leisure or visitor attraction setting.
  • Is commercially minded and passionate about growing income and improving customer experiences.
  • Has a proven track record of leading, motivating and developing teams.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys delivering high-profile events.
  • Can combine creativity, attention to detail and strong operational management.

This is more than a hospitality role. It's an opportunity to help shape the visitor experience at two of Blackburn with Darwen's flagship venues and play a leading part in the reopening of one of Lancashire's most iconic entertainment destinations. If you're passionate about hospitality, customer experience and building a successful commercial operation, we'd love to hear from you.

Weekends and some late evening working is part of this role as are annualised hours.
