Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Testing Engineer / Qualified Supervisor (QS) to join our team. This is an on‑site role focused on electrical testing across new‑build housing developments in Preston and the surrounding areas.

You will take responsibility for managing the full testing process, issuing NICEIC test certificates, and supporting customer care within the two‑year warranty period. The role suits someone who is motivated, organised, and confident working independently while still being part of a close‑knit team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out electrical testing on new‑build housing developments
  • Complete and issue NICEIC test certificates accurately and on time
  • Attend to customer care issues during the two‑year warranty period
  • Ensure all work meets current regulations and company standards
  • Collaborate with site teams to maintain smooth project delivery
  • Identify and resolve technical issues with a proactive, problem‑solving approach
Skills & Experience
  • Strong knowledge and experience in electrical testing within new‑build housing
  • Proficiency in functional testing techniques to ensure compliance and reliability
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong problem‑solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively on‑site as part of a team
  • Relevant electrical qualifications meeting current NICEIC requirements
  • Full UK driving licence (Essential)
