Location: Home-Based (Covering SL, GU, KT, TW, CR postcode areas)
Travel: Regional coverage – UK customer sites

About the RoleAs a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality technical support to our customers by completing warranty and chargeable repairs, breakdowns, and service activities.
This is a home-based role, where you will start and finish your working day from your home location while travelling to customer sites across your assigned geographical area. You will have a high level of autonomy, using your technical expertise to diagnose issues, resolve problems, and ensure exceptional customer service is delivered at every opportunity.
A full UK driving licence is essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities- Complete warranty and chargeable repairs, breakdowns, and service visits
- Diagnose technical issues and coordinate effective solutions to ensure timely resolution
- Maintain accurate service records, reports, and performance documentation
- Provide professional and reliable customer support while representing Carrier’s values
- Deliver best-in-class customer service at every interaction
- Work collaboratively with internal teams, including Sales and Service teams, to support business growth
- Identify opportunities to improve customer satisfaction and operational performance
- ACS Qualified Gas Engineer certification required
- CCN1 and CENWAT mandatory
- LPG and Commercial qualifications desirable
- Demonstrable technical experience gained within the HVAC, heating, or related industry
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail with a commitment to quality and safety
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently while managing a regional workload
- Heat Pump experience
- F-Gas certification
- Experience working with modern heating and energy-efficient technologies
