Diagnostic Technician – Blackburn

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Diagnostic Technician to join their high‑performing aftersales team in Blackburn.

• £40,000 to £48,000 OTE based on time saved and team profit

• Full‑time role working 41.25 hours per week, including 1 in 4 Saturday AM

• Carry out servicing and maintenance on a range of vehicles, including diagnostic, warranty and repair work
• Complete a variety of maintenance tasks, from oil services to cambelt changes, using digital write‑ups and job cards
• Perform electronic vehicle health checks (eVHCs) in line with company standards
• Maintain high levels of safety and quality while working to agreed processes
• Support efficient workshop performance as part of a collaborative aftersales team

• A recognised Level 3 qualification (IMI, City and Guilds or equivalent)
• Previous experience as a Diagnostic Technician or Service Technician/Mechanic, ideally with warranty and servicing exposure
• Strong teamwork skills and the ability to follow process while delivering consistently high standards
• A MOT Licence is an advantage, with training available if not already qualified
• A genuine willingness to learn and develop through manufacturer accreditation training
