Electrical Maintenance Engineer – Manufacturing – Days Only
£42,000 Basic + £4,500 Car Allowance + £2,500 On-Call Allowance = £49,000 Package.
Location:
Blackpool / PR4 Area.
Employment type:
Permanent | Days Only | Static Manufacturing Site.
- Work as a Maintenance Engineer within a UK manufacturing environment (food manufacturing preferred).
- Hold an electrical engineering qualification (Apprenticeship, NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or equivalent).
- Live within approximately 15 miles of postcode PR4.
- Have the unrestricted right to work in the UK. No sponsorship is available.

- A commercial electrician
- A construction electrician
- An installation electrician
- Currently working outside manufacturing
- Living outside the local area
- Requiring sponsorship now or in the future
Bright Search is recruiting on behalf of a well-established food manufacturing business for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join its engineering team on a permanent days-only basis.
Role OverviewThis is a static factory maintenance role. You will be maintaining production machinery and site equipment, carrying out planned preventative maintenance, responding to breakdowns and assisting with continuous improvement projects.
Responsibilities- Electrical fault finding and repairs.
- Planned preventative maintenance (PPM).
- Reactive breakdown maintenance.
- Maintaining conveyors, motors, pumps and production equipment.
- Supporting mechanical maintenance where required.
- Working closely with the wider engineering team.
- Assisting and mentoring an Engineering Assistant when required.
- Participating in a paid on-call rota.
- Electrical apprenticeship, NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or equivalent.
- Current experience as a Maintenance Engineer within a UK manufacturing environment.
- Strong electrical fault-finding skills.
- Experience maintaining production machinery.
- Basic mechanical maintenance skills.
- Full UK driving licence.
