Electrical Maintenance Engineer – Manufacturing – Days Only

£42,000 Basic + £4,500 Car Allowance + £2,500 On-Call Allowance = £49,000 Package.

• Work as a Maintenance Engineer within a UK manufacturing environment (food manufacturing preferred).
• Hold an electrical engineering qualification (Apprenticeship, NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or equivalent).
• Live within approximately 15 miles of postcode PR4.
• Have the unrestricted right to work in the UK. No sponsorship is available.

Bright Search is recruiting on behalf of a well-established food manufacturing business for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join its engineering team on a permanent days-only basis.

This is a static factory maintenance role. You will be maintaining production machinery and site equipment, carrying out planned preventative maintenance, responding to breakdowns and assisting with continuous improvement projects.

• Electrical fault finding and repairs.
• Planned preventative maintenance (PPM).
• Reactive breakdown maintenance.
• Maintaining conveyors, motors, pumps and production equipment.
• Supporting mechanical maintenance where required.
• Working closely with the wider engineering team.
• Assisting and mentoring an Engineering Assistant when required.
• Participating in a paid on-call rota.

• Electrical apprenticeship, NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or equivalent.
• Current experience as a Maintenance Engineer within a UK manufacturing environment.
• Strong electrical fault-finding skills.
• Experience maintaining production machinery.
• Basic mechanical maintenance skills.
• Full UK driving licence.
