ASE Certified Mechanic - Lancaster, CA

Our client, a growing automotive repair shop with over 25 years of service to the Antelope Valley community, is seeking to add a full time ASE certified automotive technician to its team. Our client prides itself on providing the highest quality service and integrity to its customers and is seeking a dependable, self-started who will strive to provide the same service and integrity.

• Strong customer service and communication skills – able to relate well to customers and put them at ease about the diagnosis and repair recommendations; able to translate technical language into plain English for the customer to understand
• Effective diagnostic and problem-solving abilities – able to quickly identify the source of the problem and properly use diagnostic resources and creativity to get to the heart of more complex issues
• Excellent technical knowledge and up to date on advancing technology – has a passion about cars and does not have a “clock-in/clock-out” mentality about the job; demonstrates knowledge of new tools and advancing technology on vehicles
• Desire for continuous professional development – demonstrates a continued desire to learn and grow as a professional by taking classes and studying educational resources to remain at the top of their profession

• ASE Certification
• 3 years minimum automotive repair experience
• Must include resume with application
• Submit to and pass pre-employment drug screening
• Must have valid driver’s license

Our client is located in Lancaster and will provide the right candidate with starting pay at $30/hour (depending upon experience) and Aflac benefits with opportunity for rapid increase in pay based on ongoing excellent diagnosis and repair experience and strong to increasing efficiency rate.
