Role DescriptionThis full-time, on-site Auto Body Technician role is based at our Lancaster, CA facility. The Auto Body Technician will perform daily tasks such as inspecting vehicles for damage, conducting repairs on body panels and frames, and preparing surfaces for painting. Responsibilities include collaborating with estimators, using appropriate tools and equipment to complete maintenance and repair work, and ensuring all repairs meet safety and quality standards.
The role also involves documenting work performed, communicating with team members about repair status, and maintaining a clean, organized work area.
- Candidates should possess skills in Vehicle Maintenance and Maintenance & Repair to diagnose issues and perform high-quality service.
- Candidates should possess skills in Oil Changes and general Automotive Repair to handle routine and complex mechanical tasks.
- Candidates should possess skills related to Suspension work to inspect, repair, and adjust suspension components safely and effectively.
- Experience in auto body repair, including panel replacement, dent removal, frame straightening, and refinishing, is highly beneficial.
- Ability to read and follow repair orders, use diagnostic and repair tools, and comply with safety and environmental regulations.
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and communication skills, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Previous experience in an auto body or automotive repair shop and relevant technical training or certification are preferred.
