Required Skills:

• Valid and unrestricted medical license in California
• Board certification or eligibility in OB-GYN
• Minimum of 2 years of hospital-based obstetrics experience
• Proven ability to manage high-volume deliveries and emergency situations
• Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
• Training or certification in fetal monitoring or emergency obstetric management
• Bilingual abilities in Spanish and English

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
• Prior locum tenens or hospitalist experience preferred
• Familiarity with the healthcare landscape in Southern California

Other Requirements:

• Availability to start on December 31, 2025
• Willingness to travel for on-site shifts, if necessary
• Current BLS, NRP, and ACLS certifications
• Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care
