Special Education Para Educator- Intensive Moderate​/Severe

Position: Special Education Para Educator- Intensive Moderate/Severe (7 HOURS)

High school diploma or equivalent and:
* minimum of two (2) relevant full time experience in a special education classroom with satisfactory evaluations.
* verification of 6 hours of in service training, or three college units, in discrete trial training, non-violent crisis intervention, and/or instructional strategies for moderate-to-severe children must be completed within the first three months of employment.
* two (2) letters of reference are attached to the application.
* to be considered all requirements must be attached when submitting application.
* substituting does not count as experience
* Applicants must successfully complete each part of the examination process in order to be considered further. Written examination: time & date may be subject to change. (please check your email for an invitation to test) please note: we may require supervisor recommendation forms for in house employees. Performance test: to be determined scoring: written examination will carry a weight of 100%.

All examinations must be passed with 75% or better. An eligibility list will be in effect for 6 months or until less than 3 applicants remain on the list. If five (5) applicants from the lancaster school district demonstrates the ability to meet the job
