Responsibilities- Provide academic, behavioral, and social support to students individually or in small groups
- Assist with daily classroom routines, transitions, and participation under teacher guidance
- Implement behavior support plans and follow Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) as applicable
- Support students’ mobility, supervision, and personal care needs to ensure a safe and inclusive environment
- Foster respectful and positive interactions that promote student well‑being and learning
- High school diploma or GED required; minimum age of 18
- TB test completed per district guidelines
- Physical ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting when needed
- Current clearances or willingness to obtain prior to employment
- Prior exposure to school, special education, behavioral health, or child care settings
- Experience supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
- Training or certification in CPI, PMT, or RBT is advantageous but not mandatory
- Reliability, patience, and a collaborative, team‑oriented attitude
