Responsibilities
- Instruct students in the assigned discipline.
- Assignments may include teaching courses during the day, evening, online courses, and/or off‑campus sites.
- Master's degree in speech, speech broadcasting, telecommunications, rhetoric, communications, communication studies, speech communication, or organizational communication OR Bachelor's degree in any of the above AND Master's in drama/theater arts, mass communication, or English.
- No Antelope Valley College Equivalency.
- Sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, gender identity, sexual orientation, and ethnic backgrounds of community college students (tit. 5 § 53024.1).

- Letter of intent that addresses minimum and desirable qualifications.
- Scanned copy of official transcripts with required degree(s).
- Foreign transcripts and degrees must have official certification of equivalency to U.S. transcripts and degrees by a certified U.S. review service and identify graduate level coursework.
- Evaluation service member of the National Association of Credential Evaluation Service (NACES) is acceptable.
- Two (2) current letters of professional reference signed and dated within the last year.
- Travel expenses for pre‑employment interviews and employment processing will not be authorized.
- Does not sponsor employment visas.
- Does not participate in E‑Verify.
- Does not complete documentation related to STEM OPT or other F‑1 visa programs.
