Responsibilities
  • Design, analysis, and test of fluid components and systems.
  • Design, analysis, and test of propulsion systems and mechanical systems.
  • Integration of materials and processes.
  • Manufacturing.
  • Systems test.
  • Operations.
  • Systems engineering.
  • Specific duties are subject to business unit objectives.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of a BS degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, mechatronics, or another relevant engineering field.
  • Earned the degree within the last year and will be able to start by Fall 2026.
  • Strong fundamentals in propulsion, fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, and structural analysis.
  • Relevant internship, co‑op, or hands‑on experience that demonstrates development of technical skills and leadership qualities.
  • Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and strengthen a culture of inclusion.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team on rapid development programs.
  • Flexible and adaptable mindset.
  • Self‑driven with the ability to seek out requirements with minimal direction.
Desired Qualifications
  • M.S. degree in mechanical engineering or aerospace engineering or another relevant engineering field.
  • Experience in one or more of the following areas:
    • GD&T (ASME Y14.5).
    • 3D CAD programs.
    • Finite Element Analysis (FEA).
    • Low‑pressure fluid systems (fans, ducting, heat exchangers, capillary pumps, valves, manifolds, fittings, tubing, seals, or other fluid systems).
    • Thermodynamics, fluid flow, or heat transfer analysis.
    • Safety assessment and operation of pressurized test hardware.
    • Machining, building, and maintaining pressurized or mechanical systems.
Compensation

Base Pay Range for CA applicants is $81,313.00 - $. Base Pay Range for WA applicants is $81,313.00 - $. Other site ranges may differ.

  • Stock options for all regular employees (working at least 20 hours per week).
  • Paid Time Off:
    Up to four weeks per year based on weekly scheduled hours and up to 14 company‑paid holidays.
  • Dependent on role type and job level, employees may be eligible for benefits and bonuses based on the company's intent to reward individual contributions and share company results.
