Vice President, Portfolio Management - Lender Finance

What you’ll do- Analyze, underwrite, and coordinate the closing of large corporate loans & structured products ($25mm+)
- Work with Directors and MDs to ensure credit risks are monitored and identified
- Gather and analyze necessary information to present along with originators to Senior Management or the Loan Committee for approval
- Analyze portfolio investment performance for buy/hold/sell recommendations
- Prepare portfolio scorecards and recommend marks on collateral
- Coordinate processing of approved loans and ensure they are processed according to agreement, customer needs, and bank lending policies; assist in solving problems in the portfolio
- Handle various underwriting, portfolio management, and upkeep tasks related to new loan requests and/or portfolio management
- 6+ years of related experience in Portfolio Management or a similar field
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Fixed Income investing
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of commercial credit and loan structuring; credit analyst training completed
- Advanced speaking, Excel, and written communication skills
- Progress toward or completion of CFA
Salary range for new hires is generally $ - $161.08 for Los Angeles, CA. Salary amount is determined by specific job location. In addition, the role may be eligible for annual bonus/incentives earned and restricted stock.
