Summary of Duties:
- Smiles and makes eye contact when greeting patients and other customers.
- Displays a warm and pleasant personality emphasizing tact, empathy, and patience.
- Demonstrates care, concern, and courtesy when interacting with all internal and external customers.
- Has thorough knowledge of HDMG locations and operations within the clinic.
- Directs or escorts patients to the location of their appointments.
- Offers curb assistance when patient is not ambulatory, during inclement weather, or whenever patient has a need.
- Utilizes common sense on when to page security guards when needed.
- Demonstrates constant awareness of their surroundings including clinical suites, Urgent Care, and hallways.
- Provides information and assists patients with a Dial-A-Ride or other taxi services.
- Maintains a clean and professional appearing work area.
- Maintains neatness and cleanliness of suites.
- Assists and/or page housekeeping for water spills, restroom cleanup, etc.
- Follow and adhere to HDMG's standards of attendance policy, as it is pertinent to be available to greet and escort patients to their appointments, maintain suite cleanliness, and assist with a variety of patient needs.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.

- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to type 20 words per minute accurately.
- Knowledge of basic medical terminology helpful.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to read, write, and understand Spanish preferred.
- Computer literacy preferred.
- Ability to work in a busy, multi-task environment
