We are hiring an experienced Travel Labor and Delivery Nurse RN in Lancaster, CA for a hospital-based travel assignment. This role is ideal for Labor and Delivery nurses who are confident in high-acuity environments, value teamwork, and are looking for a structured day-shift travel contract with competitive weekly compensation.

Position Overview
As a Travel Labor and Delivery Nurse, you will provide comprehensive obstetric nursing care in a busy hospital setting. You will work closely with physicians, midwives, and multidisciplinary care teams to support patients throughout labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery.
This travel L&D RN role is well suited for nurses who communicate clearly, remain calm under pressure, and are comfortable managing complex and fast-moving clinical situations.
Schedule and Contract Details
- Day shift
- 7:00 am to 7:30 pm
- 3 x 12's
- 36 guaranteed hours
Required Qualifications
- Nursing degree from an accredited program
- Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery RN experience
- Minimum 1 year of travel nurse experience
- Current BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification
- Current NRP certification
- AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Heart Monitoring certification
- NIHSS certification
- Ability and willingness to float to the Operating Room as needed
- Availability to work weekends and holidays as scheduled
