Travel CVOR Nurse Contract in Lancaster California 4x10 Day Shift 13 Week Travel Assignment

Acquire Medstaff is recruiting an experienced Travel CVOR Nurse for a 13 week assignment in Lancaster California. This travel opportunity is designed for cardiovascular operating room nurses with strong cardiac surgery experience who want to work in a high acuity surgical environment while earning competitive weekly compensation.

This Travel CVOR Nurse assignment offers a structured day shift schedule and the opportunity to work with a collaborative surgical team performing complex cardiac procedures. Nurses with open heart surgery experience and prior cardiovascular operating room exposure are strongly encouraged to apply.

The Travel CVOR Nurse provides perioperative nursing care for patients undergoing cardiovascular and cardiothoracic surgical procedures. This role supports surgeons and operating room teams during complex cardiac surgeries including open heart procedures and other advanced cardiovascular interventions.

Travel CVOR Nurses work closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, perfusionists and operating room staff to maintain patient safety, sterile technique and efficient surgical workflows. The environment is fast paced and requires strong communication, attention to detail and the ability to remain calm during high acuity cases.

This assignment is well suited for experienced cardiac surgery nurses who want to continue developing their cardiovascular operating room expertise while working in a busy surgical services department.

• Assist surgical teams during cardiac and cardiothoracic surgery cases
• Maintain sterile technique throughout all surgical procedures
• Collaborate with surgeons and operating room teams to ensure safe patient outcomes
• Support preoperative preparation and postoperative surgical workflows
• Document patient care according to facility protocols
• Participate in surgical call rotation responsibilities

This Travel CVOR Nurse contract includes weekday, weekend and holiday call rotation. A minimum of 14 call shifts will be required during the assignment.

The assignment is ideal for nurses who are comfortable working in fast paced operating room environments and who have prior experience supporting cardiovascular surgical teams.

This Travel CVOR Nurse assignment offers competitive weekly pay along with a stipend structure designed for travel clinicians.

Weekly Gross Pay $3598 to $3700
Taxable Hourly Pay $41.48 to $44.03

• Licensure reimbursement up to $250
• Scrubs allowance up to 4150
• Badge or parking reimbursement where applicable
• Extension travel reimbursement up to $600

Total reimbursement value up to $1000 tax free.

• Active California Registered Nurse license
• Minimum two years cardiovascular operating room experience
• Minimum one year travel nurse experience preferred
• Experience assisting with cardiac surgery or open heart procedures

• Basic Life Support BLS
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support ACLS

Candidates must also complete a clinical skills checklist as part of the submission process.
