Job Description & Requirements
Position: Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (NP/PA)

Shifts:
Regular 10
Pay Rate: $63.05 - $68.25
ScheduleHours: Monday - Sunday, 12pm-10:30pm and every other weekend rotation (40‑hour week total)
Setting: Outpatient cases in Urgent Care
Patient VolumePatients per Day: Three scheduled patients per hour, with two blocks scheduled for mentor spots. 20 minutes per patient for in‑person and video visits; 10 minutes for telephone visits. Must be comfortable with telephone and video visits, but primarily face‑to‑face.
Scope of PracticeUrgent Care & “Same Day” visits (episodic one‑off issues), fractures, suturing, X‑rays, toenail removal. Must be comfortable with higher acuity cases; ER experience is a plus.
Qualifications- Active California license
- Experience in higher acuity settings
- Credentialing timeframe: 90 days
- Medical malpractice insurance coverage for contractors
