Operating Room Nurse, RN Nurse
An exciting opportunity is available for a skilled RN with cardiovascular operating room experience. This contract role focuses on providing high-quality nursing care alongside a dedicated surgical team for a 13-week assignment beginning October 19, 2026.
Schedule- Four 10-hour shifts each week
- Day shift with varied start times
- Participation in weekday, weekend, and holiday call rotation
- Active and unrestricted California RN license
- Certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS (annual renewal required)
- At least 2 years of recent experience in a cardiovascular operating room (CVOR) setting
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a travel RN
- Deliver patient-centered care throughout complex CVOR surgical procedures
- Assist surgeons by anticipating needs and maintaining a sterile environment
- Administer medications and monitor patient status before, during, and after surgery
- Support pre- and post-operative patient education and assessments
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless transitions of care
- Respond to rapidly changing situations with professional judgment and competence
- Demonstrate flexibility for scheduled calls, including weekends and holidays, as required

$3,354 - $3,536/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
