Overview
We are seeking motivated individuals to join our team for a seasonal opportunity running from early June through the Back to School season. In this role, you will play a crucial part in delivering exceptional customer service, driving sales, and maintaining the reliability of store operations during our peak seasons. This temporary position offers an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in a retail environment while contributing to the success of our team during busy periods.
Job Description- Greet customers politely and assist them in finding products.
- Provide product details and answer customer inquiries.
- Address customer concerns promptly and professionally.
- Engage customers and suggest additional products.
- Upsell and promote special offers.
- Meet or exceed sales targets.
- Receive and unpack merchandise shipments.
- Stock shelves according to company standards.
- Ensure accurate labeling and pricing.
- Follow assigned work schedules punctually.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Previous retail or customer service experience preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to read, write, and interpret instructional documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to effectively communicate with customers, peers, and management in person and over the telephone.
- Basic math functions such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
- Must be able to make change in American monetary units.
- Ability to multi‑task while remaining attentive to customers and flexible to the needs of the business.
- Ability to work as part of a team and take initiative independent of direct supervision.
- Enthusiastic, friendly, and energetic with a genuine desire to provide exceptional service to customers.
- Availability to work a variety of hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Constant movement, talking, reaching, grabbing, and standing for at least two hours.
- Occasionally stoop, kneel, crouch, or climb ladders.
- Lift objects up to 50 lbs. repeatedly.
- Stand or walk for at least 8 hours daily.
- Ability to climb step stools or ladders.
