Key Holder - Management

The management of the front end and ability to motivate the checkers and baggers is the most critical job in the store. The cashiers are the final contact that the store has with the customer. This is the last impression that we have to tell our customers that we appreciate their business and encourage them to return to shop again. What happens at the front end and how well the personnel do their jobs determines, to a very large extent, whether the customer will come back.

We need to treat each individual like a guest in our home -- with courtesy, friendliness, and the respect that they deserve. Insure our company shop program is being focused on at the front end by both courtesy clerks and checkers. Supermarket specific Front End experience; thorough knowledge of products, tools, and operations of the department.

• Able to read, write, speak, analyze, interpret, and understand the English language with proficiency.
• Willing to support basic values, philosophy, rules and policies of the company in each of the activities within his or her responsibilities.
• Must be able to lift heavy objects up to 30 pounds (such as case water).
• Able to motivate front end employees in service program.
• Have sufficient physical mobility to respond to fire and other safety emergencies.
