Role Description This full-time, on-site Sales Staff role is based in Lancaster, CA. The Sales Staff member will greet and assist customers, actively listen to their needs, and guide them through vehicle selection, test drives, and product demonstrations. Daily responsibilities include explaining vehicle features and pricing, preparing sales quotes, handling necessary documentation, and coordinating with finance and service teams to ensure a smooth customer experience.

The role also involves following up with prospective and existing customers, maintaining product knowledge on Honda vehicles and specials, and keeping the showroom and lot organized and presentable. Sales Staff members are expected to meet performance goals while providing courteous, transparent, and professional service to every customer.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build rapport and communicate clearly with a diverse customer base.
• Sales aptitude and negotiation skills, with comfort in discussing pricing, financing options, and closing deals in an ethical and transparent manner.
• Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple customers, maintain accurate records, and follow up reliably.
• Basic computer literacy and comfort using dealership systems, CRM tools, email, and digital resources.
• Ability to learn and retain detailed product knowledge about Honda vehicles, features, warranties, and promotions.
• High school diploma or equivalent; prior automotive or retail sales experience is beneficial but not required.
• Willingness to work on-site, including weekends and evenings as needed, and to stand, walk the lot, and conduct test drives safely.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and authorization to work in the United States.
