Position: Autodesk Software Sales Specialist - Inside & Outside

GDMS is a leading provider of software, services and support to the engineering community. We are currently seeking talented people to join our team in the positions listed below.

Inside/Outside Sales

The primary responsibility of this position will be to facilitate selling Autodesk software (AutoCAD, MAP, Land Development Desktop) solutions and consulting services to our clients. This is an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly expanding company with limitless growth potential for the right candidate. Leadership skills, attention to detail, and an ability to work successfully in a team environment are required.

Duties will include initial customer sales calls, cold calling, and other prospecting; scheduling onsite consulting and needs assessment meetings; recommending products and services solutions designed to help customers achieve their objectives; working with Application Engineers to provide technical product information and/or demos; expanding and developing existing strategic accounts; negotiating contracts; customer service.

Requires 2+ years successful consultative sales. Knowledge of AutoCAD, Land Desktop, MAP, Map Guide and other CAD/Civil/GIS software is highly desirable. Technical or Engineering background a plus.

The ideal candidate will be an aggressive salesperson with a tenacious attitude combined with a professional demeanor. Territory includes LA County, Kern County and Las Vegas.

Civil 3D / Technical Solutions Specialist

A Solutions Specialist is responsible for leading all technical aspects of pre‑sales and post‑sales activities. The Solutions Specialist uses in‑depth industry and software knowledge to uncover customer business issues and suggest improvements, thus earning status as a trusted advisor with the customer. The Solution Specialist meets with individuals at all levels within the customer, from executives to end users in order to understand business issues and discuss solutions while evaluating areas of opportunity for expanded implementation.
