Job Overview
Driver/operator of company vehicles. Provides courteous and efficient delivery and pick‑up of packages. Checks shipments for conformance to Fed Ex services and provides related customer service functions. Performs other duties as assigned.
Part‑time: AM.
Schedule:
Monday–Saturday with Sunday off and another day off during the week to be determined.
Hours:
Typically 08:00 AM – 13:00 PM.
High school diploma/GED. Must be licensed for the type of vehicle assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Ability to maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs. with appropriate equipment and/or assistance.
- Good human relations and verbal communication skills.
- Neat appearance because customer contact is required.
- Must meet qualifications as outlined in section 391 of the Federal Motor Carrier safety regulations.
- Requires medical exam per FMCSA or FAA regulations. Non‑covered safety‑sensitive position.
- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to understand traffic signs, communicate with traffic safety officials, and respond to official inquiries per FMCSA enforcement guidance.
Starting Pay: $24.21 per hour – $35.96 per hour.
