RFK Community Alliance has an exciting full-time opportunity for a Mixed-age Toddler/Preschool Teacher to join our Child Development Center and Education team in Lancaster, MA.
Who We Seek:The Toddler/Preschool Teacher will work in our Child Development Center, providing an enriched and engaging environment for young children that encourage their imagination, challenges their thinking skills, and enhances their social and language development. The Educator will provide instruction and guidance to students to assist their academic, social, and emotional development. Providing daily care, education, and recreation for children, including the daily operations of the classroom.
WhoYou Are
You are an energetic, caring team player who loves nurturing children to help them learn and grow. Specific qualifications include:
- High School Diploma or GED Required; however, an Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education preferred (additional preference with course work in regular or special education)
- EEC Teacher certified for Infants/Toddlers and Preschool, preferred
- At least one (1) year of experience working in a residential day or educational setting with children.
- Must be at least 18 years of age
The RFK Community Alliance Child Development Center is a NAEYC accredited program that provides an enriched and engaging environment for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers that encourages their imagination challenges their thinking skills and enhances their social and language development. We believe that play, which fosters exploration, is essential to learning. We are sensitive to the cultural, social, and economic needs of the families we serve and place significant value on their involvement.
Shift40 hours a week; 8-hour shift, Monday – Friday (will be 8AM – 4PM initially, must be available between the hours of 7:30AM and 5:30PM)
