About This Assignment

This contract Health Services Assistant role, placed through Arbor Associates, supports the Health Services Department of a youth-focused residential and school-based program in Lancaster, MA. You'll be the coordination hub between healthcare providers, nursing staff, and residential programs — scheduling and facilitating medical appointments, managing electronic health records in eHana, and ensuring every resident's health documentation is accurate, complete, and followed up on.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are the core of this role; familiarity with residential care settings is a plus.

Key Responsibilities
  • Schedule and coordinate medical, dental, vision, and routine healthcare appointments for youth residents
  • Facilitate transportation and accompany residents to healthcare appointments
  • Upload and maintain health records, appointment documentation, and healthcare forms in eHana
  • Communicate appointment details and follow-up needs to residential and nursing staff
  • Support the Health Services Department with data entry, reporting, and day-to-day operations

  • Ability to transport and accompany residents to off-site healthcare appointments
  • Comfort working in residential youth care settings
  • Capacity to manage multiple schedules, deadlines, and documentation requirements simultaneously
