Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An opportunity is available for a full-time Special Education Teacher specializing in K-2 students at a school in Berlin, NH. This contracted position with a staffing agency requires a dedicated professional to support young learners with special needs, helping to foster their educational growth and development.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver specialized instructional support tailored to K-2 students with diverse learning needs.
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with school staff, families, and service providers.
- Monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods to ensure effective learning outcomes.
- Maintain detailed and compliant documentation of student performance and behavior.
- Collaborate with general education teachers to modify curriculum and accommodate students.
- Participate in team meetings, training, and professional development.
- Valid state certification in Special Education.
- Experience working with early elementary (K-2) students in special education settings.
- Ability to create engaging, differentiated lesson plans.
- Strong communication skills for interaction with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Patience, adaptability, and a commitment to student success.
