Weeks Medical Center's Emergency Department works closely with local ambulance services to provide patients with expert 24-hour, seven-day-a-week services.
With an average of 7300 visits per year, Weeks Emergency Department is one of the busiest departments in the hospital. With staff of 5 board-certified emergency physicians, 10 specialty nurses and 3 paramedics, patients can expect the same high quality emergency medicine care that you find in a larger hospital without the long wait.
The majority of emergency medical issues can be treated those patients who need to be referred to a specialty hospital, Weeks has developed an extensive network of working relationships with many specialty hospitals throughout New England.

IV Pumps: Sigma Smart Pumps
EMR: McKesson Paragon
Dress Code: Personal scrubs of any color. No denim, no T-shirts. No Perfume/Fragrances
Travelers MUST be able to work independently and hit the ground running!
Requirement description :
- 2 years CURRENT ED experience - Required
- IV start skills - Required
- Central/Arterial Line Skills - Required
- Ventilator and BiPAP experience - Required
- Rural hospital experience - Required
