The Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty Team Lead plays a crucial role in overseeing and guiding a team of nurses to deliver exceptional patient care. This position combines clinical expertise with leadership skills to ensure that both patient care standards and operational goals are met. The RN Team Lead will collaborate with healthcare professionals, manage resources, and act as a mentor to nursing staff, promoting a culture of safety, respect, and continuous improvement.

- Lead and supervise nursing staff to ensure high standards of patient care and adherence to policies and procedures.
- Coordinate and manage daily nursing operations, including patient assignments and staff scheduling.
- Act as a clinical resource and mentor, assisting staff with the development and delivery of care plans.
- Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and implement staff development plans.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and quality standards within the nursing unit.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to address complex patient needs and optimize care delivery.
- Participate in the recruitment, selection, and onboarding of nursing staff.
- Develop and implement patient care programs and initiatives to enhance service delivery.
- Facilitate effective communication among staff, patients, and families to promote patient satisfaction.
- Monitor and improve patient outcomes through data analysis and quality improvement initiatives.
- Manage resource allocation efficiently, ensuring adequate staffing and equipment availability.
- Address and resolve clinical and operational issues promptly, escalating as necessary.
- Lead unit meetings, fostering a team-oriented environment and open communication.
- Participate in budget planning and management to optimize financial efficiency.

- Associates of Science in Nursing (ASN) from an accredited institution [REQUIRED].
- Minimum of 5 years of clinical nursing experience in an acute care setting [REQUIRED].
- Minimum of 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role [REQUIRED].
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New Hampshire as verified by Nursys [REQUIRED].
- Basic Life Support (BLS, AHA) [REQUIRED].
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nursing or Healthcare Management.
- Certification in leadership or nursing specialty (e.g., Nurse Executive, CNL).
- Basic Life Support (BLS, AHA).
- Current and valid RN license – New Hampshire.
