• Location: Lancaster, New Hampshire (Zip: 03584) — White Mountains region
• Position: Emergency Room Registered Nurse / ER RN (Travel Nurse)
• Contract: 13 weeks (April 6, 2026 – July 6, 2026)
• Shift: Night shift, 12-hour (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), 36 hrs/week
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Occasional Flex: May flex to mid-day shift as needed

This travel nursing opportunity is ideal for Emergency Department nurses seeking a night shift ER RN role in a Critical Access Hospital. Experience autonomy, supportive interdisciplinary teams, and access to outdoor recreation in a small-town New Hampshire community.

• Minimum 2 years current Emergency Room nursing experience (Required)
• Experience working in a Critical Access Hospital (Required)
• Active New Hampshire RN license
• Permanent address at least 50 miles from facility (travel nurse requirement)
• 1 supervisory signed reference from the past year (Required)
• Emergency Room skills checklist (Required)
• Previous travel nursing experience (Highly Preferred)
• BSN degree (Highly Preferred)
• Active certifications (required unless noted):
  • BLS (AHA)
  • ACLS (AHA)
  • PALS (AHA)
  • TNCC
  • NIHSS
  • NRP (Highly Preferred)
  • ENPC (Highly Preferred)

• Provide high-quality emergency nursing care for patients with acute medical and trauma conditions
• Assess, triage, and treat patients presenting to the Emergency Department
• Work independently as the sole RN after 1:00 AM, with House Coordinator backup
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and support staff to coordinate care
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation and follow hospital protocols
• Respond to emergencies and perform critical interventions as needed
• Flex to mid-day shifts when staffing needs require

• Strong critical thinking and triage skills for fast-paced ER settings
• Comfortable practicing autonomously in a small, rural hospital environment
• Excellent communication and teamwork with interdisciplinary staff
• Committed to patient safety, quality documentation, and evidence-based emergency care
