• Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to maintain adequate nursing coverage.
• Provide professional guidance and supervision to non‑professional unit staff.
• Identify educational needs of the staff and develop training with the Nurse Educator.
• Oversee medication management to ensure compliance with policy.
• Provide direct patient care along with other unit nurses to maintain skills.
• Deliver compliant, high‑quality, cost‑effective health care while achieving positive clinical outcomes and patient/family/employee satisfaction.

• Graduate of an accredited school of licensed practical nursing.
• Current licensure by the State Board of Examiners of Nurses in the center’s state.
• At least one year of nurse management experience.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
