Country Village Center, a skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility in Maine, is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to provide resident-centered care. In this role, you will assist residents with activities of daily living, mobility, and personal hygiene while supporting comfort, dignity, and safety. CNAs collaborate closely with nurses and an interdisciplinary team, monitor and report changes in condition, and maintain accurate documentation.

You'll build meaningful relationships with residents and families and gain strong experience in skilled nursing, rehab, and long-term care within a supportive, growth-focused environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care and assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, toileting, and grooming.
  • Measure and record vital signs, intake/output, and report changes in resident condition to nursing staff promptly.
  • Support safe transfers and mobility using proper body mechanics and assistive devices to prevent falls and injuries.
  • Maintain resident comfort, dignity, and privacy while fostering respectful, compassionate relationships.
  • Assist with feeding, hydration, and monitoring nutritional needs according to care plans.
  • Accurately document care and observations in electronic or paper records per facility policies.
  • Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and other team members to support individualized care and rehab goals.
  • Keep resident rooms and common areas clean, organized, and safe, following infection control and isolation procedures.
  • Respond promptly to call lights and resident requests, prioritizing safety and timely care.
  • Participate in in-service training and follow facility and regulatory policies, including HIPAA and resident rights.
