ThispositioncombinesexpertiseinindustrialautomationandfieldIT,servingasakeyresourceformaintainingplantcontrolsystems,network infrastructure,andend-usertechnologyacrossadiverseindustrialenvironment.
Theidealcandidateisahands-ontechnicalprofessionalwhothrivesinbothoperationalandITsettings.
ResponsibilitiesincludesupportingandtroubleshootingSCADAandPLCsystems,plantnetworks,industrialcommunicationinfrastructure,anduser-facingtechnologytoensuresafe,efficient,anduninterruptedoperations.
Successinthisrolerequiresstrongproblem-solving skills,adaptability,andtheabilitytoworkacrossmultipledisciplines.
Whethercommissioningavariablefrequencydrive(VFD),optimizingautomationsystems,orresolvingnetworkandconnectivityissues,thisindividualwillserveasatrustedtechnicalpartnerthroughout
Peckham'splantnetwork.
- Ownershipandcaring. Maintain,modify,upgrade,andrepairSCADAsystems,PLCcontrolsystems,instrumentation,andplantITinfrastructure
- Dedication. Install,program,andcalibrateinstrumentation,scales,VFDs,andPLCs;deployandconfigureworkstations,tablets,printers,andplantdevices
- Compulsive Tinkering. Troubleshootindustrialautomationequipment,plantnetworks,sensors,control circuits(12480V),andend-user hardware/software issues
- Focused. Maintainstructuredcabling,switches,andwirelessaccesspointsatplantsites
- PerformstartupandcommissionofnewcontrolsystemsandITdeployments
- Committedtoserve. Provide In-houseandfieldtechnicalsupportofPLCbasedsystems.
Support
WindowsOS,plantapplications,andremoteaccesstools(VPN,RDWeb) - Mastery. Designandinstallwiring;readandinterpretblueprints,electricalschematics,andcontrolpanelwiringdiagrams
- Resultsmatter. Ensureallchangesandmodificationsareproperlydocumented
Education and Experience
High School Diplomaor GED,preferred.
On-call,readytorespondtounplanneddowntime.

Thiswouldrequiretheabilitytositatadesk,frequentwalking,bendingorstandingasnecessary.
