Our client, a small CPA firm, is seeking a detail-oriented Part-Time Tax Preparer to join their team. The ideal candidate will have experience preparing and filing both individual and business tax returns and providing excellent client service.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare individual and business tax returns (1040, 1065, 1120S, and 1120)
- Review client financial and tax documents for accuracy and completeness
- Communicate with clients regarding tax information and questions
- Ensure compliance with federal and state tax regulations
- Assist with tax planning and responding to tax notices as needed
Qualifications:
- Experience preparing and filing individual and business tax returns
- Knowledge of federal and state tax laws
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficiency with tax preparation software
- Ability to work independently in a small firm environment
