The Fairfield County Prosecutor’s Office is seeking motivated, qualified applicants for a full-time Public Inquiries Assistant position.
The mission of the Fairfield County Prosecutor’s Office is to serve the citizens of Fairfield County by pursuing justice, protecting the public against criminal activity, and providing timely and competent legal services to clients. Successful candidates will further that mission by demonstrating professionalism, a positive attitude, and exemplary work ethic. The position requires effective communication skills, the ability to work efficiently and independently, and a strong commitment to public service.
Candidates must follow all office policies and procedures and must be comfortable in a fast-paced team environment.
Managing a multi-line phone system; fielding and directing inquiries from victims, witnesses and law enforcement officers; retrieving and processing the daily mail; daily court runs; and supporting the prosecution efforts of criminal, juvenile, and/or civil matters as directed.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proficiency with MATRIX case management and Microsoft Office software.
- Prior experience in the legal field, though not required, is preferred
- Valid Ohio Driver's License
