Qualifications for above positions:
* High school diploma
* Valid state license to practice as an Educational Aide
* Passage of the Paraprofessional Test or 2 year degree
* Classroom experience with handicapped students
* Ability to work with students with behavior difficulties
* Must be able to deal appropriately with students who exhibit emotional or behavioral problems, aggressive behavior, or physical problems
* Physically capable to apply CPI techniques when necessary
* Clear BCI/FBI report
* Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Superintendent and/or Board of Education may find appropriate
